Wash separately from wool and rough fabrics. Friction from harsher materials pulls at the fine knit and shows up as pilling faster than anything else.

Skip the dryer entirely. Hang it damp and let it air dry — heat is what kills fitted cotton fastest. Warm iron if needed, cold wash always, and never bleach.
